It is not uncommon for products to partially or fully thaw in transit, especially in the summer months. We do use extra dry ice in the warmer weather, but unfortunately these situations are sometimes unavoidable. We flash freeze everything at the time of production, which makes it completely safe to refreeze at least once, much unlike the meat at your local supermarket. As long as the products were cold to the touch, ideally not above 40 degrees, they are still perfectly safe to consume, or to refreeze and thaw at a later date when you are ready to cook.
I received my delivery today and everything was completely defrosted. I put it in the freezer, but I am concerned about the quality of my meat. Is it safe to consume?
