  • Can I buy Fossil Farms products on Amazon?

    We do not sell our products on Amazon, however you can find them online, at our retail store, and at various retail outlets nationwide!
  • Are there animals at your Boonton location that we can see when we come to the store?

    Our Boonton location does not have any live animals, but does house our Headquarters, Warehouse, and of course, our Retail Market, which is always worth a visit!
  • Can I visit your farm?

    Our New Jersey Farm is not on the premises of our Main Headquarters, and it is not open to the public.

    Fossil Farms meats are not treated with hormones, antibiotics or preservatives.  The animals are all free roaming or wild, foraging on the land they roam for most of their lives.   • Do you have a waiting list?

    We have a waiting list for certain items, such as ostrich eggs!  Call or email customer service at customerservice@fossilfarms.com or 973-917-3155 to be added to our list!
  • Do you sell bones or animal heads for taxidermy?

    Fossil Farms does not sell animal heads for taxidermy purposes.
  • Do you sell pet food?

    Yes, we sell to many restaurants nationwide!  From small sandwich shops to some of the top restaurants in New York City and beyond, Fossil Farms has been supplying all natural meat and wild game to the food service industry for more than two decades!

    Fossil Farms has been in business since January, 1987.  In 2022, we celebrated 25 years in business, and just getting started!

    There are many restaurants across the country that purchase and put on their menus our all natural meat and wild game.  You can always ask the restaurant if their game meat is from Fossil Farms.  If it's not, then it should be!

    We work with many farms across the country and even internationally.  We try to source as much as possible form our local region, and we have our own family-owned ostrich farm in Northern NJ.

    We deliver via UPS to the 48 states, Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico.  At this time we do not ship outside the US.

    Fossil Farms works with family owned farms in the US, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.

    Fossil Farms was founded in 1997 by Lance and Todd Appelbaum, who started the business in their parents home, and Fossil Farms is still a privately held family owned company to this day!
