Our poultry is fed a vegetarian diet of wheat, barley, corn, soybean meal, and grains. While their feed is not certified organic or non-GMO, it is carefully sourced from local farms that prioritize natural, high-quality ingredients. Many of our farm partners follow organic and sustainable practices, though they have not gone through the formal certification process.
It’s also important to note that an animal’s diet does not make the animal itself “GMO.” The nutrients, DNA, and proteins from any feed ingredients are fully digested and metabolized, meaning they don’t transfer into the animal’s meat or change its makeup in any way. Extensive research from the FDA, USDA, and World Health Organization has shown no nutritional or safety difference between animals fed GMO versus non-GMO feed.
